INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Individual therapy, often called counseling, talk therapy, or psychotherapy, is a form of therapy that creates a safe outlet for self-expression. Individual therapy explores negative thoughts and feelings, as well as the harmful or self-destructive behaviors that might accompany them. With individual therapy, it’s important to delve into the underlying causes of past and current problems (such as unhealthy relationship patterns or a traumatic experience from the past), but the primary focus is on making positive adjustments going forward.
